The Impacts of Torkham closure on Life and Trade
This was a research done by me in June/ 2026 to reveal the impacts of border closure between Afghanistan and Pakistan. This research included 300 Traders, Drivers, Hotel Owners and Shopkeepers near the Durand line inside Afghanistan. The findings of the research were terrible and revealed heavy loss to the people who were involved in trade and transport. Public had also faced lack of Food, Medicine and other goods entering Afghanistan through Torkham border.
